Tummy Tub Sea Sponge Giveaway Ends 03/05/10

TummyTub

Tummy Tub is a U.S. family run business that was born out of the desire to offer the best in baby care from around the world, to American parents.

TummyTubJanis McKellar is the founder of TummyTub USA, she has four young children and a husband. In an attempt to find the “perfect” bath tub before her youngest was born, she discovered the TummyTub. At that point in time it was only offered in Canada and overseas. She paid a small fortune in shipping to have it delivered, yet she found it to be worth it’s weight in gold. Her youngest was born, and has been using it since his first bath. With a great desire to share this amazing product, Janis began importing TummyTub products direct from the manufacturer in Germany to resell on her U.S. online site in 2009.

TummyTub USA believes that babies should be introduced to life outside the womb in the most gentle and natural way. We strive to find and design innovative products that help achieve this goal, while giving self-confidence through the essential phases of life. Safety is our top priority as we consistently verify that our products meet or exceed new regulations. We are happy to develop sustainable and eco-friendly products to make the world a better place for our children! prizeypick

This European upright bath tub has made a splash with American parents since debuting on The Today Show in May.  Not only does it make bath time more comfortable for a baby (covered in warm water as opposed to laying flat on the back and cold) and enjoyable for parents, it is also compact, small, and eco-friendly!  The design mimics the shape and size of the mothers womb and the baby is cradled in warm water while in the comfortable fetal position.  Its heaven for babies!  Additionally, standard baby bath tubs cannot be used when a baby starts to sit (around 6 months), while the TummyTub works from newborn-toddler….eliminating the need for a foam cushion, infant tub, and toddler ring.  This not only saves money, but space as well! Janis notes that her 22 month old can and still does use the TummyTub often. As they outgrow it for bathing, you can use the TummyTub to store bath toys, use it as a cooler or a bucket, even a flower planter. The possibilities are endless.
