I find it almost impossible to not like Sir Paul McCartney. On December 6th The Love We Make was released by Eagle Rock Entertainment. This documentary is one of the most emotional ever aired on Showtime Cable Network. Fans now have the chance to look back at Sir Paul McCartney and his efforts to plan and perform a benefit concert in the aftermath of the worst day in history of New York City.
The Love We Make is available on DVD and Blu-Ray. Filmed in 16mm black and white, and filled with color concert clips. The Love we Make contains dramatic images of “The Concert For New York City”, held months after 9/11 with scenes of Sir Paul as he walks the Streets of town that his former songwriting partern, John Lennon loved so much.
Even thinking of 9/11 makes me shake. The fear that we endured for that time is unreal. Everyone was connected in some way to the planes, air travel, or the people of New York City. The fact that Sir Paul McCartney cared enough to help Americans in our time of need makes me smile. This is a do not miss film.
