This weekend we watched the family movie The Secret World of Arrietty, from Walt Disney Studios. This was a good family movie and even my 15 year old son watched it with us. It was the perfect ending to Mother’s Day.
Based on the children’s book series “The Borrowers,” by Mary Norton, “The Secret World of Arrietty” is an imaginative tale of the “little people” living furtively among us, and the unlikely friendship that forms when their hidden world is discovered. The heartwarming family adventure features beautiful stylized animation and timeless themes of friendship, courage and determination.
This came to us as a 2-Disc Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD, with the following bonus features:

This excellent family movie will be released on 5/22/12. I could see my youngests sons wheels turning with the thoughts of little people and the fun they can be.
