So yesterday I jump online to get an early start and was hit with a huge disappointment. First my computer was trying to do an update. You know one of those that take forever? So with some investigation I find it is Skype. I couldn’t load pages and if I did it was s-l-o-w. I wasn’t impressed. But I pull the whole evil Skype system out of my computer thinking that will fix it.
Only to open my email and it’s locked. Run to the site and yep it’s locked too. I look at my personal local email to find that someone had tried too many times to get into our site login so Hostgator had locked it. Now I LOVE this about Hostgator, except it takes forever to get it unlocked. Our readers didn’t see a problem the problem was in our control panel and my email. What ticks me off is this isn’t the first time this has happened. It’s happened to Rose twice. This time MY email was the one to take the hit.
So after an hour and a half, yeah 1 1/2 hours, I had all of the passwords changed and everything working except my email. *Sigh*, I followed all of the directions and finally got a hold of support. They had changed my email password, thankfully that was straightened around after a few minutes, and THEN I had 1948 emails to load.
So yesterday was pretty unproductive and I have lots of great shares to share with you, that will be coming up soon. Have you heard of a Litter Robot? Oh gosh it’s the coolest. I would like to point out that October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and it’s a great time to do a breast exam or to schedule a mammogram (yep gotta feel them boobies).
