I’m so frustrated and angry. 2 years ago we bought a new refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, clothes washer, dryer, and microwave with vent hood. It literally took us years and a couple of tax returns to save enough to buy them. Thankfully I spent the little extra and bought the extended warranties.
This Summer the dishwasher broke down and we had to wait for parts and a very nice repair man to drive 3 hours north to fix it. I was happy. it was fixed and running again. A couple of weeks later the refrigerator broke down and there was water all over the floor (not an icemaker). We cleaned it up and I worked with the buttons thinking maybe it was because it was so hot and humid. Everything seemed to be ok, until today.
Today the dishwasher died. Just decided it wasn’t doing the dishes any more. To my dismay the water from the refrigerator is leaking all over the floor again. Now I have to find my paperwork, call 2 different repair people and start this cycle all over again. Does anything work like it is supposed to? I mean where is the quality in products?
When you spend over 1k on a refrigerator it should work for a long time. The same goes for a dishwasher. These aren’t no name brands we bought we bought name brands because we thought we were buying quality. Lastly the microwave died about a week ago. Has anyone else been plagued with repairs of new appliances?
