Who doesn’t like a Butterfinger? This holiday season our family got to sample their favorite candy bar in NEW Butterfinger Bites. These are delicious alone or even in a recipe!

In honor of the NEW Butterfinger Bites and Butterfinger’s 90ish anniversary, Nestle partnered with exclusive dessert food trucks and created one-of-a-kind recipes from ice cream sandwiches, cake pops, cookies and more!

They invite you to make your own recipes via! Sally Camacho of Jonathan Club and Top Chef: Just Dessert created a custom Butterfinger Bites Fritter recipe and Momofuku Milk Bar’s Christina Tosi created a Butterfinger Bites crust to fill with your favorite pudding and serve with ice cream. Butterfinger’s has shared these recipes on their Facebook Site.

Here is a simple recipe for the whole family!

Butterfinger Bites

Butterfinger Popcorn Balls Created by Nestle

  • 6 cup popped popcorn
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3 1/2 cup miniature marshmallows


COMBINE popcorn and chopped Butterfinger in large bowl.

MELT butter in medium saucepan over low heat. Stir in marshmallows. Heat, stirring constantly, until marshmallows are melted and mixture is smooth.

POUR over popcorn mixture; quickly toss to coat well. Coat ice cream or cookie scoop with nonstick cooking spray. Scoop popcorn mixture into 25 (1 1/2-inch) balls. Place on wax paper to cool. Wrap in decorative bags or store in airtight container.
Preparation: 15 mins
Cooking: 5 mins
Cooling: 15 mins
Yields: 25 Popcorn Balls

    These Popcorn Balls look delicious! Unfortunately, popcorn balls never turn out for me but there is a Butterfingers Muddy Buddy recipe I would love to try!

    I am not a fan or chocolate or peanut butter however I LOVE Butterfinger and I LOVE this recipe for butterfinger popcorn balls!

    I love popcorn balls and haven’t had any for years. This recipe looks really easy. My grandchildren are going to love these.

    Butterfingers are one of my favorites! Yum! I can’t believe I’ve never heard of these Butterfinger Popcorn balls before they sound great!
