Fun With an @Home Celebration From The #DisneySide

Disclosure

It was a busy weekend and a long one too. Friday was snowday AGAIN and yesterday we and many other families spent the day digging ourselves out. It was also the day of our #DisneySide Party, but let it be said that a little snow never kept us down.

Disney provided me with an American Tourister suitcase full of fun for my Disney Side Celebration, including:

  • Party Ware including a table cloth, cups, and plates
  • Decorations, balloons, and hangables
  • Hanes T-Shirts With Fabric Markers
  • Cookie Cutters, Meausring Cups, Festive Disney Cupcake Papers
  • Bracelets
  • Craisin Cranberries
  • HP Photo Card Packs
  • Mickey & Minnie Mouse Posters
  • Stickers & Tattoos
  • and more!

We had some chicken nuggets and soda for snack and for dessert we enjoyed cupcakes topped with Craisin Cranberries. Crainsins are delicious and made the perfect cupcake toppers. We even had some left for the kids to snack on while they were here.

For some fun I checked out the Spoonful website for inspiration, the kids settled on drawing on the t-shirts with fabric markers, and one of the favorite things to do was to trace the cookie cutters on the shirts. Quinn went for the plain look, one little girl, though was taking her’s home to have mom sew buttons on for the eyes.

Disney3

The kids sat down to Lady and The Tramp with their favorite Disney character stuffed animals, giving the adults a little bit of time to themselves. I was able to chat with some moms about Disney Destinations and what great deals they have for families. Our family booked through Disney Destinations for our vacation and had a wonderful time. I also shared a package of HP Photo Cards with each mom and showed off my new HP Printer.

The goodies bags were a hit filled with bracelets, stickers, tattoos, balloons, and accompanied by a darling Pink Disney Poster with Mickey and Minnie and a loving heart balloon!

My party was a little smaller than I wanted due to the weather but everyone who attended had fun, showing their Disney Side. I even saved goodie bags for those that couldn’t make it giving them a reason to come and visit later this week!

Sounds like you had a great party – even though it was smaller than you hoped. I know mine is a little smaller than I wanted – for the same reason. The day we chose to have it, everyone was either under the weather or not wanting to travel in the snow.
