A House Built on Love Giveaway Event #1 Barnes & Noble Gift Card Giveaway

March 12th-26th, 2014

I have teamed up with Lauren Paints| a beautiful life,

Chronically Content, Deliciously Savvy, My Silly Little Gang

and several other bloggers to give my readers the opportunity to win

several different giveaways through out the months of March & April!

I will be posting a new giveaway every couple of weeks to help
my friend Lauren, from Lauren Paints | a beautiful life, and her husband
celebrate their journey through an unconventional way of becoming parents. You can learn more about their journey here.Reading is so very important through out life,

but during the early childhood years reading to your child

helps build a stronger relationship,

while also helping them to learn language and reasoning skills.

An additional bonus is that it is simply tons of fun to read!

Check out this list of Lauren’s favorite children’s books,

these books are sure to make you and your little one’s smile!

Heckedy Peg

Heckedy Peg is a book my daughter brought home from the school library when she was small.  Very quickly it became her favorite book and I had to call the school and ask them not let her bring it home anymore.  Instead I bought it for her and her own personal library.  Little did I know this would be my boys favorite book too!

Now it’s time for the giveaway,

ONE lucky reader will win a $100 Gift Card to Barnes & Noble.

Please use the giveaway tools form below to enter to win:

My favorite book I’ve read recently is “Watership Down” because the bunnies were unlike any others in literature. One of my favorite stories from childhood was “The Velveteen Rabbit,” and I’d love to read it to my nieces and nephews someday. Easter must be in the air because I also just remembered that “The Tale of Peter Rabbit” was the book I most loved for my mother to read to me. That’s my hare-brained input. 😉

It’s hard to narrow it down, firstly, the Bible, then I think I’ll go with the Brothers Karamazov. I loved reading Egerman’s Bible to my kids.
