It’s November But It Feels Like January Here

We are used to cold weather here and we’re used to lots of snow, but not in November.  We have set new snowfall records and new records for cold during this time of year.  When the snow came the ground wasn’t frozen which is going to make for a nightmare when the snow melts.  After hitting a low of 18 degrees last night we’re expected to hit highs of 40s come this weekend along with rain. It’s going to be a mess!

For now thought I choose to look upon the beauty of it all.  I love Winter and snow and all that it brings to our area.  When you live in the north your learn to live with the elements.  We have skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, ice skating and more!  Once the lakes freeze, especially the big lake, Lake Michigan, we also have more acreage.  On this “New” found acreage we snowmobile, hike, and even have a carnival.  Many of you can’t imagine the thrill of a bonfire on the ice.

Networking Witches reaches many people all over the US.  Some in warm places like Hawaii and California, and many in places getting hit hard with snow, blowing and drifting right now.  Wherever you are, take advantage of what you have an enjoy.  Make the best of the weather you have and enjoy!

It’s COLD here in Oklahoma too, but not that cold. We had our first snow last week and got around 1/2 inch.

I agree that the weather is a bit strange this year. We had a small dusting a few weeks ago. I am not looking forward to the next few months. We are supposed to have a wet winter. I live in tx and this area isn’t able t handle very much snow or ice.
