Sausage & Sauerkraut with Vegetables
1 lb. smoked sausage(I used HOT), sliced into 2″ pieces
1 can Sauerkraut
1 can diced tomatoes, do not drain
4 carrots, sliced
4 large potatoes, cut into chunks
1/2 chopped onion
2 cups chicken broth
2 tsp. Regina Red Wine Vinegar
salt, pepper, celery seed, garlic, onion powder, a little sugar to cut the taste of the tomatoes
Put vegetables, onions, in the bottom of a large pot (5 qt.) Then the tomatoes, sauerkraut, and sausages. Top with spices, pour in chicken broth and Red Wine Vinegar. Bring to a boil, the lower heat to medium low, cover and let cook for 30 minutes~ Check to see if potatoes and carrots are to your liking, if not then cook a little longer~
I made this recipe up today and am quite proud of how it turned out. My family loved it~

AHHH Sauerkraut not my favorite, but a good recipe to keep handy for when family stops by for dinner.
I would love to try this recipe.I’ve never had sauerkraut before so this is going to be interesting
This sounds good. I rarely have sauerkraut because I am the only one who eats it in my house.
It sounds good! I might skip the tomatoes, because although I love them I have a mild allergy to them. (Though I still eat them sometimes, lol.)
