LOUISE BAXTER HARMON is a writer, gardener and eco-activist who lives in the San Francsisco Bay Area. Born in Gallipolis, Ohio, she learned the horticultural arts from her Aunt Ruth, from whom she also inherited her green thumb. Harmon also conducts writing workshops about “Putting Your Passion on Paper.” Currently studying permaculture, Harmon is starting a seed-saving collective and working on a book on the healing power of gardening.
