As my children reach the age of purity and have the affects of it showing on their faces.  Acne can be bad not only for their faces, but also for their self-esteem.  I look for the best products for them that are the most effective and have no harmful chemicals in them. The Create Cosmetics, Tea Tree Oil Acne Lotion is  one that I feel good with my family and I using.  The Tee Tree oil has many healing properties that make it the easy choice to turn to when you need to clear your skin up.  This is a fragrance free lotion, but it does have a light Tea Tree oil smell that for my family is refreshing.  There is a non greasy, light, and smooth feel to it when you apply it to your face without the drying effects that can occur with other acne treatments.  You can use it as a spot by spot lotion or if your face is really bad you can put it on your whole face.

BPT3.1 is a gentle, yet potent, spot and preventive anti-acne treatment. It combines 3% Benzoyl Peroxide with Organic Tea Tree Oil – both proven topicals for treating acne.

To create the formula, they carefully chose non-comedogenic oils that have both a proven track record fighting against acne and are nourishing to the skin. Our testing revealed oil-based lotions to be less drying and have better skin absorption than water-based formulas, adding to the penetration of our active ingredients. We also incorporated Witch Hazel and Allantoin for their anti-inflammatory and soothing properties. BPT 3.1 is Paraben and fragrance free, using organic ingredients when possible.

I don’t do anything special. I do wash my face every day and try to find moisturizers that don’t make me break out (which i have a hard time finding!)

Treat the pimple as soon as you (or your child) feels it coming. You know that itchy, burnt, im-getting-a-huge-pimple feeling? Treat it with the spot treater immediately! It only works for the larger ones though.

I threw out all of my creams and lotions and magic potions and replaced them with jojoba oil and tea tree oil for pimples. That’s it. My face has never been more clear!

My secret is that I use rubbing alcohol to clean my face at the end of every day. It can be a little drying for my skin, but it gets all the dirt off and is very inexpensive!

When it comes to my acne, I’m 34 years old and always refer myself to Tina Fey & say that I have a chin of teenager, not to brag! 🙂 I wash my face with a gentle cleanser and use sensitive skin products!
