Helping People Stay Warm For 30 Years

I received no compensation for this post. The purpose of this post is to help people who need warmth!

Each year I promote the THAW Fund. Here in Michigan when the cold weather sets in many people have no heat or very little heat. Being cold can keep kids from their learning potential, keep them from sleeping, and if you’re up here in the far north will freeze your water lines creating a lack of sanitation.

THAW Fund has grown and I found them when I was thinking of people that didn’t have heat and wanted to donate. I am proud to share their information not just because they do good but they also have fund raisers and ideas on what you can do to help people in your area.

Donate hats, coats and gloves, sweaters, blankets and there are many other items. Think about what you do when you’re cold and those items would be great to donate. Also, money! So many people have poor heating systems and heating bills can run into the thousands of dollars per MONTH! That’s more than my mortgage.

If you’re warm, take a moment and say a prayer of thanks. If you’re not warm or not going to be warm looking for programs in your area to help you and your family before your situation becomes dire.
