I’ve shared before that my daughter is an art major, and trying to find projects for her that are fun and out of her every day norm is sometimes challenging. It’s also a challenge getting her all of the art supplies she needs. They’re both expensive and hard to find.

Smart Art Box, is a subscription service that provides a monthly box of full sized art supplies as well as an art project. Smart Art Box, is giving the gift of love and enjoyment. This months box came with 2 Mardi Gras Masks, paint, brushes and glitter. My daughter has died and gone to heaven. Her bubbling excitement when the box came made me smile.

“MOM! I didn’t think of doing Mardi Gras Masks and we’re going to a Mardi Gras Party.”

I’m thrilled. Today is her day off and she’s spending the day creating her masks for a party her and her boyfriend are attending tomorrow.

About Smart Art:
Smart Art was created by a small group of friends, driven by the desire to see the world and experience the culture created by historical visionaries. Along the way, they found inspiration in the many mediums found everywhere, from the poorest of villages, to the most prestigious of cities. Each medium expressed the artist’s individual communities, heritage and personality. For this reason, inspired by the passion portrayed in their art, a new determination was born to pursue and discover the many exciting art mediums across the world.

Together, they are committed to ensuring artists understand art and it’s many mediums throughout time in order to create a better understanding of the world around us. Their mission is to deliver products that kindle creativity, stimulate exciting new techniques and establish a deeper connection with art for everyone.

My sister was blessed with the artistic genes but has never fully developed her art talent. Now that she’s semi-retired, I’d love to encourage her to relax with some art projects to see where it takes her. A monthly subscription would give her a nice mix of projects.
