Kitchen Table Passport Subscription Box

I received a Kitchen Table Passport box for review. I love and treasure this box. This months country is the Czech Republic. Why is that so important to me? My grandmother is from Czechlosolovakia. My grandfather always told us about his home country of Hungary but he was 5 when he left and had a few memories. My grandmother on the other hand was born in the USA to immigrants. While we still hold many of the traditions I never got to see photos or hear stories of the “old country”.

My box came with Mementos:

  • A couple of Czech Republic postage stamps
  • Glass Beads
  • Glass Nail File
  • A bag of spices (Paprika)
  • Welcome and Information Cards

The cards that came in the box are full color and good sized. They tell you about the country, about the mementos you received and an authentic recipe using the spice from your country.

I have not used my spice or made the authentic dish yet but I will. My grandmother cooked authentic Czech foods regularly and this box has brought back many fond memories. I have shared the Discovery cards with my parents and family and it’s been a trip down memory lane and a great way to introduce our family to their heritage.

How cool is this subscription box?! I love the stuff included and think it’s so awesome that you were able to get Czech stuff to bring you back to your childhood! 🙂

This is a really neat subscription box. It is neat to get items from other countries especially when you won’t be visiting any time soon.

Love this idea..very colorful and fun. People are amazing with the ideas they come up with! I would love to get a Swedish or Russian box for me and a Italian or Irish box for hubby.
