If you Missed The Passion Hosted By Tyler Perry – Rent, Buy or Stream It!

Tyler Perry is one of those celebrities that sneaked up on me. I wasn’t all that familiar with him and then WHAM! He hits me like a ton of bricks. In the last year I’ve learned more and more about him and have come to admire the actor and producer he’s become. What a great role model for our adults and youth.

Last night, his epic creation “The Passion” was shown, and was nothing that I thought it would be. What a special person Tyler Perry is to recreate the Passion in modern day times with something that appeals to people today, music.

Tyler Perry, translated hard to sometimes understand Biblical stories and lessons into modern day lessons that impact us today, to show us that what we’ve learned in the Bible over the years is still applicable today. Using New Orleans, a city hard hit by hurricane Katrina and it’s resilience.

Tyler Perry’s, The Passion, helps to restore faith, healing and love in people, while at the same time teaching the Bible through music. Music, by popular artists and songs we’ve all heard. His narrative of the story paints a clearer picture of what happened and the bravery of Jesus Christ, for our salvation. The bravery of his followers that later preached the gospel to bring Christianity to us all.

If you missed “The Passion“, rent it, buy it or stream it, but watch it. It’s amazing and will renew your faith in humanity and in Christ.

I haven’t seen The Passion yet, but I might check to see if it’s available on Netflix for a couple of my friends.

Wow, where was I when this came out? Maybe doing my taxes, but I totally missed this. I do prefer renting or streaming at home. Not just for Easter and a great message any time. I do love Trisha Yearwood too!
