Battle of 2 Eye Creams

Recently, I was asked to participate in the Battle of 2 Eye Creams. “How fun!” I thought. So I tried both CHAMOMILE EYE THERAPY from made from earth and STEM CELL + COLLAGEN MOISTURIZER SOMALUXE from Lady Soma. Both are very nice products and both helped my skin. Having to pick a winner was going to be hard and I declared it’s a tie!

While I already have dry, sensitive skin it’s made worse by our Polar Vortex and blowing and howling wind. Below is what I like about each of the eye creams.

About Chamomile Eye Therapy – made from earth:
A rich moisturizing eye treatment, using roman chamomile, to gently calm the eye area. Moisturizes using Vitamin C and advanced minerals to help reduce the appearance of wrinkles and the signs of aging. Individual results may vary. Genetics, diet and lifestyle are also contributing factors for healthy skin.
Chamomile, when combined with Evening Primrose and Vitamin E, provides a soothing and moisturizing effect to the delicate eye area; results are eyes that appear hydrated, calm and fresh. 1 oz 30 ml.

I liked that this eye therapy does exactly as it says. It helps calm tired, wrinkled and stressed eyes. After a night of no sleep and huge bags under my eyes this is my go to. I apply it after getting out of the shower while there is still moisture on my skin. I got dressed and prepared to use large amounts of cover up, but while it was needed to even out my skin tone a bit all of the puffiness and dark circles were gone. As a woman with “gypsy eyes” the natural dark rings around the eyes this was really amazing. It also hydrated my skin around my eyes with out making it is greasy.

About somaluxe stemp cell + peptied complex:
Stimulates new skin cells, collagen production and skin cell longevity. Peptides and botanicals soften skin texture and add firmness. Use once per day, morning or night.

The unique combination of peptides and hyaluronic acid repair age damage, plump, and bring skin back to a healthy foundation. It contains a high concentration of Hyaluronic Acid, Organic Coconut, and Vitamin C for skin healing. Long term use of this product leads to clear, luminous skin and over time fine lines and wrinkles are less visible. The product is moisturizing enough to be used as a moisturizer (i.e. you will not need to apply additional moisturizer). 2oz 59g.

+ Powerful anti-wrinkle therapy improves tone and texture
+ Organic Plant Stem Cells from the Globularia Cordifolia Flower
+ Botanical Hyaluronic Acid from the Cassia Angustifolia Seed
+ Can be used daily, or as an occasional treatment

Something I really like about somaluxe is that for years I’ve gone to their different products when my skin is damaged. You know, when your skin feels angry at you and it’s red and irritated? (Their lip rescue is a must have but that’s another post). somaluxe will calm and start repairs to your skin. It will even out the redness and mositurize at the same time.  Consistent use of somaluxe will also help keep the angry skin from returning.

I really think I could use the About Chamomile Eye Therapy – made from earth. My eyes have been so puffy in the morning and it does make me look older.

I too have issues with dryness from the polar vortex. I am going to check these out. I could use some calming lotion for my poor little eyes.

They definitely both have their uses. I appreciate the reviews and honesty. I would love to try the chamomile, but there are times when…my daughter too…talks about angry skin.

I want to find out which of the two win the battle. My sister in-law will love this, and I thank you for the no-nonsense information on these great and uplifting products to help the eye area revitalize.

Both of these eye creams have some impressive ingredients. Evening primrose is a great oil for skin while hyaluronic acid is a well-known and proven moisturizing ingredient.
