This summer the best gift I could ask for arrived, Dot. Dot was a 5 lb Beabull, she’s 3/4 English Bulldog and 1/4 Beagle. We have really enjoyed her growing up the last couple of months, and one of our favorite activities is going to town. We either take her to the pet store or around town for socialization skills. To keep Dot safe while in the car we’ve been transporting her in a SHERPA Pet Carrier.
I adore this model because the flaps go up along the sides so Dot can see her surroundings while traveling. It also provide for great ventilation. The inside is lined with soft Sherpa material giving her comfort. The carrier is on wheels and has a strap for carrying as well as handles. Dot has now grown to 25 lbs and almost isn’t fitting this model so we will be upgrading soon.

you take her in the car how do you strap this carrier in the car?
Hi Gloria,
This easily straps into a car seat which when we are driving we do. We put the belt around the carrier and through one of the straps. When we take her in and out of the car though we always put her in the back of the car so we’re not fighting the doors. Now that she’s a little older she knows to sit and wait for us to leash her but when she was smaller I was afraid she would wiggle loose.
Aw, it’s adorable and looks super comfy!! I love the softer ones that can collapse for storage!
This is nice real cute
I like that there are 2 openings and that the zippers are lockable. This would be a great upgrade to our current pet carrier.
This looks like a great carrier! I need one like this for my cat.
This year when all the hurricanes hit, my husband and started talking about what we would do with our pets. We have 2 crates this one and one that Dot sleeps in in the house which is quite a bit larger. We decided the 4 cats could be comfortable but hissy if we ever had to take off quickly in the house crate and Dot would go in the travel crate. So this is also working into our emergency planning.
This is a really nice carrier. I wish they had this when my parent’s dog was a puppy!
This carrier has great features. It would be nice for my Archie.
I love that! I admit…nicer than the two that we have…we need to get some new ones!
This is cute and I need one my little dog is so hyper
I absolutely love these carriers. My own dogs (three rescued Treeing Walker Coonhounds) are far too big to fit into a carrier like this, but it works great for our cats (3 in all – also all rescues). My youngest daughter managed to escape from Naples, FL just before Hurricane Irma hit and her cats were comfortable and safe for the 20+ hour drive to the Chicago area.
I love my pet carrier, and so does my Pug. If her little legs get tired I can put her in it and carrier her. You can tell when your pups legs are to tired to keep going go on.
I love this. I have been looking for something to make traveling with my dogs easier.
I’ve often wondered what I might do in a situation where I HAD to travel with my two cats on a plane. They’re very well-behaved and are great travelers, but if you don’t have the right kind of carrier there can be serious problems. This one looks like it helps the pet feel comfortable and not overly threatened, while keeping everyone safe. What a nice product!
That looks like a great carrier and very safe.
This looks like a great carrier.
My 2 dogs are too big for a carrier like this but I can see how nice this would be with smaller fur babies!
